First Hermann’s Beer Garden at Berlin Tegel Airport
casualfood just opened its first Hermann’s Beer Garden at Berlin Tegel Airport. The beer garden is located airside, in other words after security, and has 54 seats as well as poseur tables across an area of 125 square metres. It has a stylish glass facade that looks out directly onto the taxiway, allowing the patrons to watch planes take off and land.
Typical regional products on offer
In addition to fresh draught beer, Hermann’s Beer Garden offers a wide array of regional sausages, salads, filled rolls, lye baked goods and ice cream. Among other things, guests will find typical regional products such as the original Berlin bockwurst sausage and Spreewald gherkins, Berliner Kindl beer, Berliner Weisse beer and Berlin-based Proviant soft drinks. Like at Hermann’s at Frankfurt Airport, Hermann’s Beer Garden is equipped with casualfood’s new indirect grill. This means up to 250 sausages can be grilled an hour – without exhaust air or unpleasant odours.
“This space is ideal for a beer garden. We have therefore expanded our Hermann’s concept and have created Hermann’s Beer Garden. Sausages and beer are simply the perfect pairing. As ever with our casualfood concepts, it goes without saying that we have attached a great deal of importance to top quality and first-class ingredients here too,” say Stefan Weber and Michael Weigel, the Managing Partners of casualfood GmbH.
