casualfood has just unveiled another new concept at Frankfurt Airport. The “Superfood by NATURAL” pop-up store is aimed at the ever-growing number of people who are careful to eat a healthy diet. With the new concept, casualfood aims to show that it is possible to make healthy fast food to take away. The new takeaway shop is in the airside area of Terminal A and spans 35 square metres.
“We are noticing ever-increasing demand for healthy snacks and meals at our restaurants and stores, which is why we are focusing on popular superfoods with this new pop-up outlet. Sustainability and regionality are always strong points of focus for casualfood anyway,” said Stefan Weber and Michael Weigel, Managing Partners of casualfood GmbH.
The “Superfood” store offers a varied range of healthy, on-the-go snacks. Customers can choose from a menu including creative sandwiches with hummus, avocado and pomegranate, for example, and wraps containing dates, bacon and sweet potato. Popular Asian takeaway items such as sushi and summer rolls are also available, along with trendy Buddha and poke bowls with ingredients such as quinoa, feta cheese and red cabbage or artichoke, edamame beans and hummus. Snack packs of pomegranate seeds and coconut chunks, freshly made smoothies and milkshakes round off the menu.
