Swiss food group Orior recently took a 35% stake in casualfood. The German travel food & beverage specialist sees the partnership as an ideal platform to further develop the company and ramp up expansion. Travel food specialist Casualfood has unveiled a new Beans & Barley concept at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport. The Terminal A airside Level 1 outlet offers craft beer and coffee, along with a range of sweet and savoury snacks in a space just under 40sq m.

Yet more innovation: not long after the launch of Brezel Lovers, casualfood is introducing another new concept. The company is opening “Beans & Barley – Crafted Coffee and Beer” at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport, offering customers crafted beer and high-quality speciality coffees around the clock in space of just under 40 square metres. The concept also offers sweet and savoury snacks. Beans & Barley is located air side on Level 1 of Berlin-Schönefeld’s Terminal A, in other words after security. With this new concept, casualfood is expanding its portfolio to twelve food service and store brands with a total of 56 outlets.
